Welcome to little Gracie!
Gracie arrived yesterday with her buddy Dini. These two little cuties were originally purchased by their surrendering owners from the Knackery yard. They have been surrendered to Quest due to a family illness, which has prevented their family from caring for them. We're told that Gracie was not fully grown when bought from the Knackery, so she would roughly be maybe around two and a half years old currently. Our Dentist will be able to give us a more accurate assessment re her age when she does Gracie's teeth.
Gracie has had minimal handling at this stage, but seems very friendly and curious.

Little girl is doing well, and becoming less timid by the day. Unfortunately however, she has a condition most commonly called 'Big Head', which is basically the end stages of a chronic calcium deficiency. By the time the symptoms of this condition are apparent in the enlarged bones of the head, much calcium has already been leeched from the animal's bones right throughout his/her body.
You will be able to see Gracie's affected facial structure particularly in the last two photos. Of course we will do all we can to address her condition.

Gracie has been lucky enough to be offered a lovely permanent life-time home of her own. We would like to sincerely thank Michelle and Andy for their kindness in doing so, and also for their preparedness to continue working on Gracie's confidence and handling.
