Quest Equines Seeking Adoption
Quest Equines Seeking Adoption
Rescued horses aren't broken.
Some of them have never had a kind hand laid upon them. Be patient. Understand their fears, give them time, and never ask for more than they are happy to give.
They will remember you for it. You will never have a more loyal partner.
Some of them have scars. These tell the story of their lives. Read the scars, both physical and emotional, and appreciate their journey.
Some of them have simply experienced more of life than other animals. If they were human, we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell
and stories to write, the ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage.
Don’t pity them, do something.
Help to rescue. Donate. Volunteer. Foster. Adopt.
And be proud to have their greatness by your side.

Whisky
Beautiful Standardbred mare. Not, and never will be suitable for riding.
Whisky is seeking an experienced horsey home who will understand her little idiosyncrasies and work with her on those.
Whisky is nervy around humans and still very distrustful, but improves every day with this. She will require a confident and patient owner who will build her confidence around people.
Whisky was trained to harness but never raced. Given this, she has been exposed to all basic handling, but at some point along the line has been let down severely.
We are told that Whisky was involved in a floating accident when young, and that she was inside the float when it rolled. We have been working on some back issues with Whisky, which could be a result of this accident. Continued chiropractic back therapy would be beneficial for the girl.
NEVER TO BE BRED FROM.
