One man's trash - DEFINITELY another man's treasure :)
Such happy news for our gorgeous Nanna. Dinki has been offered a wonderful permanent home by a Quest forum member and friend Nicole. Dinki is going to live with a family of three small children on a lovely property, where she will no doubt excel at her speciality, which is baby-sitting children and accepting heaps of love and cuddles. Nicole has promised to keep us up to speed on Dinki's life, and I'm sure we'll be seeing photo updates on our forum.
Dinki will be very much missed here, she is a wise old soul who does not have a bad bone in her body, and has given us far more than we could have ever given her. Always a favourite with any visitors, and always so gentle with children. Love our Dinks, and thank you Dinki for showing us the beauty of Donkeys.
Dinki interviewing her new family the other day:
Dinki has given Nicole and her lovely family the big thumbs up, and I'm sure will become a much treasured extension of the family in no time. Really, after our experience of coming to know and caring for Dinki, I could not recommend highly enough a Donkey as a child's first equine. The right Donkey will take exceptional care of a child, and make a steady, intelligent, and very loving friend.
