Great news!
Thanks to the wonderful team at Horseland and the good folks at Surfcoast Floats, we are very happy to share the news that Quest finally has a float of its own!
This new Quest asset is going to be just that, and will make the rescue and rehabilitation work of Quest so much more efficient and economically possible. To a large extent, Quest has in the past relied upon the services of professional horse transport companies, which has not made transport timely in some cases, and has always been a cost that Quest has had to bear. Quest now has the capacity to respond effectively to urgent calls for assistance, and the means by which equines can be transported for urgent veterinary attention if required. Our friends at Horseland have been very generous in their support of this project, and the team at Surfcoast have manufactured an outstanding float, customised with our requests, which were aimed at making this float a safe and comfortable carrier for horses, donkeys, and ponies of all ages, behaviours, and shapes and sizes.
Horseland’s slogan, "We live Horse's Too" is a reflection of the core values of Australia's largest equestrian retailer and their dedication to fulfil one purpose and one passion - our shared love for horses. This slogan is clearly more than just a catchy phrase, and Horseland could now arguably be hailed as the first significant Australian equine business to acknowledge, and to make a corporate commitment to the essential work being undertaken in the equine welfare field and equine disaster relief.
Since the first Horseland store opened in 1978, this grass-roots involved business has steadily built upon its reputation as a major supporter of Australian riders and events. Horseland has now extended its support of horses and the equine community to actively sponsor the equine welfare cause. Our deepest gratitude to Horseland, and our congratulations to Horseland for not only being a leader within its field, but also a leader in its business philosophy of involvement and support of all important aspects of the equine industry.
If you see the Quest float out and about, please stop by and say hi!
